Pigment Red 48:1

Pigment Red 48:1, chemically named 4-[(5-chloro-4-methyl-2-sulfonylphenyl)azo]-3-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid barium, also known as C.I. Pigment Red 48:1, 3133 Permanent Red 2BN, and by other names including Lithol Scarlet D 3700 and Pigment Red 48 barium salt, has the molecular formula C18H11BaClN2O6S, CAS number 7585-41-3, and biometrics code 1FYL.

Pigment Red 48:2

It is primarily used in NC-type packaging printing inks, thickening in water-based inks; it does not bleed when coloring soft PVC, withstands heat up to 230℃/5min in HDPE, and is widely used for LDPE coloring. It is more lightfast than P.R. 48:1 and can also be used for PP pulp coloring. There are as many as 118 commercial brands on the market. It is mainly used for coloring inks, plastics, rubber, coatings, and stationery.

Pigment Red 48:3

When used for coloring plastics (such as PVC, LDPE, and PP), it exhibits excellent migration resistance in soft PVC. At a transparent concentration of 0.2%, its lightfastness reaches level 6, superior to similar pigments such as Pigment Red 48:1 and 48:2. It is suitable for coloring packaging inks, coatings, rubber, and stationery, with 51 global brand names covering both industrial and consumer goods sectors.

Pigment red 57:1

Pigment Red 57:1, also known as Litholrubin BCA, with the chemical formula C18H12N2Na2O6S and CAS number 5281-04-9, is a bluish-red powder with a magenta hue conforming to the four-color printing standard. It is insoluble in ethanol but soluble in hot water, producing a yellowish-red hue.

Pigment red 122

Pigment Red 122 is a very bright bluish-red, with a hue close to magenta. This quinacridone derivative pigment exhibits excellent migration resistance, outstanding thermal stability, and provides a pure bluish-red or magenta color.
