Product Description
Solvent Red 135, also known as Transparent Red EG, is a red to deep red or light pink powder at room temperature, and also a dark red to black solid. It has no obvious odor and usually exists in powder or crystal form.
Solvent Red 135 is insoluble in water and has moderate to good solubility in organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone, chloroform, aromatic hydrocarbons (e.g., benzene, toluene), esters, and chlorinated hydrocarbons. It is also insoluble in water and diluted solutions of acids, acetic acid, or alcohols. This dye exhibits excellent thermal and light stability, with a heat resistance temperature of 300-320℃, a lightfastness of 7-8, and good weather resistance. It also possesses high tinting strength and high gloss. In addition to its excellent light and heat resistance, Solvent Red 135 also has strong tinting strength, meaning that the desired color intensity can be achieved with minimal dosage. This not only improves the efficiency of the production process but also reduces costs. The pigment also has high lightfastness (grade 7 to 8) and heat resistance (300°C to 320°C), making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including plastics, coatings, and inks.

Solvent Red 135 is mainly used for transparent or opaque coloring of various thermoplastics such as polystyrene (PS), ABS, SAN, PMMA, PC, rigid PVC, PET, and PA. It is especially suitable for rigid plastics (such as PS, SB, ABS, ... (SAN, PMMA, PC, PVC-U, PPO, PET, PA6/PA6.6). This dye is also used for doping coloring of acetate fibers and polyester fibers (PES fibers). Furthermore, Solvent Red 135 can be used as a colorant in greases, lubricants, fuels, candles, soaps, rubber toys, paints, inks, coatings, masterbatches, decorative materials, and vehicle taillight resins, etc. Solvent Red 135 is mainly used for coloring everyday plastics and spool materials, providing excellent color stability and fade resistance. Its unique chemical composition makes it ideal for industrial oils, paints, inks, and masterbatches, offering excellent dispersibility and color strength. In addition, certain varieties of Solvent Red 135 are specially formulated for the dyeing and spinning processes of chemical fibers, including polyester, nylon, and acetate fibers.
