Product Overview
Fiber Flame Retardant Masterbatch is a high-performance, multi-functional masterbatch specifically developed for the chemical fiber industry. It is particularly suitable for chemical fiber products such as PET polyester staple fiber, POY/FDY/DTY polyester filament, etc. It combines whitening and brightening with highly efficient flame retardancy. It is made by blending high-purity fiber-grade titanium dioxide with halogen-free environmentally friendly flame retardants and a special PET carrier resin through intensive mixing and standardized granulation. It is a core special additive for the production of environmentally friendly flame-retardant chemical fibers.
This product utilizes an environmentally friendly halogen-free flame-retardant system, boasting high flame-retardant efficiency and excellent thermal stability. Combined with superior spinnability, it can be directly mixed with conventional chemical fiber chips for melt spinning without altering existing production processes. It imparts both pure whiteness and hiding power to chemical fiber products, while also providing permanent flame-retardant properties, fundamentally improving the fire safety level of chemical fiber products. Simultaneously, it does not damage the original mechanical strength and extensibility of the fiber. It is widely applicable to the production of flame-retardant chemical fibers in various fields such as civilian textiles, industrial textiles, architectural interiors, and protective clothing, fully complying with environmentally friendly flame-retardant production standards.
Core Product Advantages
Dual-Effect Whitening and Flame Retardant: The addition of fiber-grade titanium dioxide provides both excellent whitening and hiding effects, simultaneously achieving highly efficient flame retardancy. This reduces production steps, eliminates the need for additional whitening masterbatch, and lowers raw material and labor costs.
Halogen-Free, Environmentally Friendly, Safe, and Compliant: Utilizing an environmentally friendly halogen-free flame-retardant formula, it releases no toxic gases or corrosive fumes during combustion, meeting domestic and international environmentally friendly flame-retardant standards. Suitable for high-standard scenarios such as food contact, medical use, and public places.
Halogen-Free, Environmentally Friendly, Safe, and Compliant: Employing an environmentally friendly halogen-free flame-retardant formula, it releases no toxic gases or corrosive fumes during combustion, complying with domestic and international environmentally friendly flame-retardant standards. Suitable for high-standard scenarios such as food contact, medical use, and public places.
Highly Effective Flame Retardant with Low Addition Quantity: High concentration of flame-retardant active ingredients provides outstanding flame-retardant efficiency. A small amount is sufficient to achieve the desired flame-retardant effect. It has minimal impact on the mechanical properties of chemical fiber sizing agents and finished fibers, and does not alter the original fiber quality.
Excellent High-Temperature Resistance and Spinning Properties: The product has a heat resistance of ≥290℃, making it suitable for high-temperature spinning processes in chemical fibers. It does not decompose at high temperatures, and its flame-retardant effect does not diminish. It has excellent spinnability and is suitable for the entire process of filament texturing, warp knitting, and staple fiber spinning.
Uniform Dispersion and Smooth Processing: The particles are regular and dense, preventing agglomeration, clumping, and dust during processing. It has excellent filtration performance, preventing clogging of spinning components, filters, and dies, extending the spinning cycle, and ensuring continuous production.
Excellent Compatibility and Wide Applicability: Highly compatible with PET polyester fiber substrates, it is also suitable for polypropylene and other chemical fiber materials. Both virgin and recycled chemical fiber materials can be used. Mixing is uniform and does not stick to the walls, with high batch stability.

Applicable Fields and Scenarios
This product is primarily compatible with various chemical fiber spinning processes, addressing both whitening and flame-retardant requirements. Core application scenarios are as follows:
Polyester Fiber Field:Production of PET polyester staple fiber, POY/FDY/DTY polyester filament, and high-strength industrial yarn, widely used in permanently flame-retardant products such as clothing fabrics, protective clothing, industrial textiles, architectural interiors, and vehicle interiors.
Polypropylene Fiber Field:Production of flame-retardant polypropylene filament/staple fiber, used in decorative fabrics such as curtains, sofa fabrics, bedspreads, and carpets for high-rise buildings, hospitals, and public places; industrial products such as coal mine conveyor belts, waterproof cloth, and air conditioning duct fabrics in textile factories.
Plastics Processing Field:Casings for electronic products such as televisions and radios, as well as flame-retardant modification processing of various flame-retardant plastic products and packaging materials.
Suitable Processes:Conventional chemical fiber and plastic processing processes such as polyester spinning, filament texturing, warp knitting, melt spinning, and extrusion.

Use
The recommended addition amount for 25μm BOPET film is 60%. There is no fixed standard for the specific addition ratio; it needs to be adjusted flexibly according to the specifications of the chemical fiber, flame retardant rating requirements, and raw material type. Before use, a small-scale test of flame retardant performance must be conducted to determine the optimal addition amount.
The above parameters are standard laboratory test data and are for production reference only. Due to differences in raw materials, formulations, processing equipment, and processes among downstream manufacturers, the actual flame retardant and whitening effects may vary slightly. It is recommended to conduct a sample trial production first.
