Acid Blue 9 is a classic water-soluble anthraquinone acid dye, classified as an anionic acidic colorant. It appears as a bright royal blue powder or crystal with a pure and vivid hue. Featuring good water solubility and uniform dye uptake, it is mainly used for protein fibers, polyamide fibers, leather, paper, printing inks and some aqueous coloring systems. Different from high-temperature inorganic ceramic pigments, it cannot withstand extreme high temperatures and is mainly designed for medium-to-low temperature dyeing applications. With high tinting strength and brilliant color, it is a commonly used blue dye in industrial dyeing and water-based coloring fields, meeting the coloring needs of various light industrial products.

Mixing use is strictly prohibited.

Leather Processing: Dyeing and finishing of genuine leather and artificial leather for leather shoes, bags and accessories, offering bright color, strong adhesion and improved appearance texture.
Paper & Paper Products: Dyeing of decorative paper, art paper, packaging paper and card paper to produce blue-toned paper products with uniform color, no penetration or bleeding.
Water-Based Inks & Coatings: Formulation of water-based inks, water-based color pastes, stationery inks and watercolor paints for pens, watercolors and children’s graffiti pigments with good solubility and vivid color.
Other Light Industrial Fields: Coloring of soap, detergent and cosmetic auxiliary materials, as well as medium-to-low temperature coloring of some plastic and bamboo-wood products. Strictly forbidden for high-temperature firing of ceramics and enamel.
Usage & Storage Instructions
During use, first fully dissolve the product in warm water under stirring, filter and add to the dyeing system to ensure uniform dispersion and avoid color spots or patches.
Dyeing is recommended in acidic to neutral environment with temperature controlled ≤100℃. Avoid strong alkaline environment and ultra-high temperature operation to prevent dye decomposition and discoloration.
Adjust dosage flexibly according to target color depth. Conduct preliminary testing before dyeing to verify qualified hue and color fastness before mass production.
